Poured Out: Week 4 - Faithful to the Finish
In the final week of Poured Out: A Study on Sacrifice, we listen to the apostle Paul’s closing words as he reflects on a life fully given to Christ. Using the imagery of a drink offering—the final act of sacrifice—Paul describes his life as something willingly poured out in worship. His confidence at the end is not rooted in perfect performance, but in a faith that endured through hardship, suffering, and perseverance.
This study reminds us that a poured-out life is not about doing everything right, but about remaining faithful through every season. Jesus calls His people to live ready and alert, offering daily obedience in the small things that shape a lifetime of faithfulness. As we await Christ’s return, Paul’s example challenges us to live now in light of eternity—trusting Christ, remaining connected to Him, and allowing our lives to become a pleasing offering to God.
